Having cancer is hard enough. With its prescription and appointment reminders, the MedAdvisor platform means that there’s one less thing to remember to worry about when it comes to cancer treatments.

For cancer patients MedAdvisor is useful, not just to help them take their medication safely, effectively and on time, but also as a way to receive educational content about the medication. The app can also be used by carers looking after those fighting cancer.

Canteen_Horizontal_URL_RGB(2)In alignment with our commitment to help support the millions of Aussies diagnosed with cancer, including the over one million being treated for cancer and their carers, MedAdvisor is expanding its support options through a partnership with Canteen.

Canteen is a trusted and respected charity organization that provides vital support for 12-25 year olds dealing with their own diagnosis or cancer in their family.

MedAdvisor and Canteen are committed to helping both people with cancer and the people that care for them. Furthermore, through this partnership, MedAdvisor will also help to raise awareness of Canteen to its 2 million platform users and network of 3,700 pharmacies across the country.

We are excited for this chance to partner with an organization as incredible as Canteen,” said Robert Read, CEO of MedAdvisor.

Our goal at MedAdvisor, from day one, has been to make managing illness more bearable, and Canteen’s values make this partnership an obvious choice.”

MedAdvisor is also looking forward to partnering with Canteen as they rally support for families impacted by cancer this Bandanna Day. Held on the last Friday in October, National Bandanna Day is the flagship fundraising and awareness campaign for Canteen.

When cancer’s in your life, Canteen is in your corner with whatever support you need,” said Canteen CEO Peter Orchard.

“Dealing with cancer can be pretty overwhelming so it’s great to work with partners like MedAdvisor to make living with cancer that little bit easier,” he said.

Since Bandanna Day began, Canteen has raised more than AU$33 million to support young people impacted by cancer. MedAdvisor looks to help Canteen raise more money this year through the support and dedicated user base of MedAdvisor so that Canteen can continue instilling positive change to countless lives.
